Drawn to the mountains from New Orleans, I moved to Asheville in 1993 and finished my degree in Art at UNCA. It didn't take me too long to make my home Asheville. For me, living in Asheville is experiencing quality of life.
Here I enjoy whitewater rafting, contra dancing, swing dancing, ballroom dancing, hiking, fishing, ceramics, gallery walks and the theatre. I also enjoy volunteering at Carolina Day School, community theatre, and renovating homes. I have enjoyed participating as a member of: the Affordable Housing Coalition, the Asheville Chamber of Commerce, the Asheville Board of Realtors, and Saint Eugene’s Catholic Church.
Most importantly it has been the people I have met in Asheville that have made me feel at home. My son, Jack and I are grateful for each of them that we have been blessed to have embrace us as family and welcome us here in Asheville. The people I have been fortunate enough to meet have been very optimistic, kind and motivated individuals that strive to better themselves and their community. They welcome the opportunity and take the time to invite you to be a part of their ever growing circle of friends and many interests.
